Creative UK Female Founders launch new company for scripted slated.

(LONDON, UK) – Nov. 29th . – Directors UK film and TV director, Jo Southwell has joined forces with Sara Gibbings of Troy TV, Bristol, to establish a new production company called Mermaid Pictures. The sole purpose is “to produce our joint scripted

slate of feature films and TV.” Sara and Jo are both Creative UK Female Founder Alumni. Being part of this process, allowed Sara and Jo to collaborate on their first film together - ECHO. Shot on location and in the U Stage at Pinewood, the ambitious short

film went on to win various awards at film festivals including : Best UK, Best Short, Best Fantasy and Best Director.
